Well after 6months of browsing on this forum i took the plunge and bought the car all u guys raved about... i am happy to say that u were all on point the E55 is nice .....I live in Ma and located one in VA on ebay... I landed a black 2005 with only 1000 miles, keyless go, cd changer, bi-xenons, wood trim and dynamic seats (wow)....i had to put 700 miles on it driving it back... but all 700 miles was with a grin from ear to ear...definately worth it .... On the way back i felt like i was king of the road, untouchable and spanked every car that came near me or if the driver even looked at me the wrong way ....But i was humbled by a viper on my way back....taught me that there are still some higher up on the food chain than me.....Anyway very pleased with the car and want to thank everybody here for there input in helping me make my decision...Now who wants to be spanked?.......

 

Get K2 mods and you'll been eating unmodded Vipers for breakfast.

 

How did you run the Viper ? from a roll or from out of the hole ?

i run the viper from a roll...around 35mph and shut it down at 125mph he could not get away from me but i could not close the gap btw us, which was about 20 feet.....He seemed to have much better low end torque.... Pictures coming soon.

thank you...i am happy with it, but one of my buttons on the steering wheel that indicate the "+" sign to shift up in M mode already fell off and now have to get a new steering wheel...good thing mercedes will cover the cost....
