This is the best explanation of all that tyre and alignment stuff....my brain just isn't as big as Rafal's to keep this in memory.

It seems that tires are a crap shoot. Retailers should let us try a set (for a few miles) like shoes to see if we like them. When you’re paying $1200 to $1500 I don't mind paying extra bucks for a couple of remountings to get exactly what I like. That way you wouldn't have to wait 20,000 miles to correct a bad choice. How about it Venders!?[/QUOTE]
In fact the Yoko Advan Sport and the Bstone Potenzas have a 30 day try and buy policy.. if you aren't satisfied within 30 days you may exchange them for the same size tires in the same or different brand. I would recommend again the Advan Sport or Potenza Re050a vs.. the others including the older Potenza S03 (which were great but rough riding)

I agree Rafal. My personal problem is I always wonder if something can be a little better. But if you want a solid daily driver that's stable and your car feels fine then yes, leave it be. BUUUUT if you want MORE, play, play play, maybe even until you break it. Then you can tell your wife "I have to fix it, it's broken."

The New Goodyears are good tires. They are a hair less sticky than the PS2's in the dry, a hair faster in the wet, but much more consistent. Under HARD driving, the PS2's become butter after several minutes. The Goodyears stay with you for longer but this really only matters if you're on the track.
The Yokohama Nuevo (sp?) are REALLY sticky. Whoever says there isn't any R compound in them is lying. They are insanely sticky in the dry but scary in the wet.
