CLS55 AMG
Well, speed aside, CLS55 seems to be more of a chick magnet. My cousin has a black e55, and unless he's pounding it, we never got head turns in it. I love them both. I figure after a few more years, the CLS will just be a ordinary household car.
I guess VIP cars are just something sexy to have out front to draw in the crowds. I for one am glad they leave my car out there.

Not so, the E weighs 1835kg and the CLS 1920Kg according to MB.
Thats why the E is faster!

I appreciate the props, and I certainly hope you are wrong. But I have to agree, that in many ways you are onto something..... this car definitely attracts the bling bling crowd ... not something I was counting on. But still no regrets - the car is a real head turner.

To me, 1" makes a huge difference and I am not into the "look", so I tend to like wider rather than taller rims.

Sure a strong CLS can beat a dog E, but more times then not the E will triumph.

Now he has a CLS 55, for which I got him Green Filters, and I am still whipping his sorry *** in my E55. These cars are just different, nothing to do with drivers. He is faster than me and a more aggressive driver on the circuit.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that Car and Driver got a 4.1 sec 0-60 time for the E55 Wagon of all things! Not sure what the 1/4 mile time/speed was, but it was likely slower than the much less brick-like CLS/E55 models.
No way the E63 wagon is going to be faster than the E55 wagon with less torque.
