The rest have the same engine, so its weight and gearing (if we are talking 1/4mile, not top speed). So my guess is the E.

CLS 55 Capri Blue
Rule out the non-Kompressors - C,CLK,SLK

The CLS would be the fastest, because its the lightest.

Well I will take the opposite view and say that the E is faster.
Here is my evidence.
January 2006 edition of Car & Driver
CLS 55 is tested vs. M5 and a Cadilac STS-V
CLS 0-60mph time is 4.2 sec.
CLS 0-100mph time is 9.8 sec.
CLS 1/4 mile is 12.6@ 114pmh
Motor Trend 2004/2005 New Car Buyer's Guide
2003 E55 is tested against 2003 Audi RS 6
E55 0-60 mph time is 4.2 sec.
E55 0-100mph time is 9.7 sec.
E55 1/4 m
E55 1/4 mile time is 12.39@ 116mph
Of course there are a lot for variables in magazine tests, so how about real expereinces at the track.
www.dragtimes.com
The E55 is more aeordynamic than the CLS. Looks can be deceiving.

The cars are equal, i mean really.
These cars don't come with the EXACT same amount of HP.
It really just depends on how your particular 55k runs.

I think Siswati has to be the ONLY CLS55 guy who has his head on straight.

Generally speaking the E is faster. I have never seen a stock CLS clock under a 12.4 and I have seen many stock E's do it.
Sure a strong CLS can beat a dog E, but more times then not the E will triumph.

I have only been able to turn a 12.8 at the track but........it's really really hot and humid down here now (100 degrees and 97% humidity) so I'll be interested to see what my car does in the winter when its 60 and 50% humidity.
Its kinda weird to bring a 100k car to the track cause everyone is looking like " WTF is he doing here" Last week a buddy brought His E60 M5 with me to the track and we ran togather. I easily beat his ET's everytime down the track.

E55's tend to very fast in a straight line, compared to the rest of the AMG lineup, but the CLS has a better looking front end.
In a line, according to Dragtimes. com, the E55's are the fastest. However, if handling became a factor in the race, then the SL55 will be the fastest.

In all honesty, here is how it went:
Best sound: SL55, hands down.
Best handling: SLK55 (on autocross track)
Best MB feel: SL65
Most solid: E55 (even at 150mph)
Sleekest: CLS55
Since I have been bashing, i should be honest. The E55s and the CLS55s felt very similar to me. The CLS just had a snugger cabin. I only had a chance to drive the CLS55 030 package once and it was definitely different, but it had the package.

SL 65 AMG and E63s AMG
After having driven the CLS and the E55 I think they are very close to the same performance, BUT my theory as to why the CLS does not produce the numbers in the quarter compared to the E55 relates to:
1)Drag coefficient at high speed
2)Stiffer rear "springs" don't allow for as good weight transfer
3)There are very few CLS55 at the track compared to the number of E55s that have been running.

Of course to be fair you have to compare an '07 E63-030. That ought to be fun, even though it doesn't include suspension changes like the SL55-030.

Just noticed you have an SL600, so let's just let it go. Yours is faster, or whatever.
Hmmm, wider stance and less weight. Now, how the heck do I think my car handles better?
