Geez guys, it didn't look that bad!! Just the tail lights and upper trunk panel out. Perhaps I should take a picture of the SL55 I'm working on right now to make you all feel better. The entire dash, instrument panel crossmember, and heater housing assembly is out....looks real bad.



BTW, finished product looks awesome!!!

Jangy...You lights looks good...but more pics on day time and a bit further would help to get better ideas...

Please ask you body shop exact solution on how they did it...what paint, clear coat mix , all that staff ???

I am going to do the same soon...

Not bad at all. It was $280 for the 3 lights. he said the two rear tails are about 1/2 hour to strip.

It is definitely acrylic paint with a clear coat. i will find out how they control the amount of tint. Jeff is getting his car done even darker than mine, so we will know exact formulas.

Cant with for solution and to see pics of both cars !!!

Ask them if they used MB 197 Obsidian paint same as you car color or they just mixed similar paint with clear coat...

I think I will want a darker version
