Hi,

I'm new to the board and this is my first post here. I hope some of the experts here can give me some good tips on buying a E55, I don't know if I should by a 03 or 04 model. What are the usual "problems" with the 03 model and for the 04 model did they improve this alot from the 03 model.

I hope I'm making sense here and that someone might be able to help me out here!

Get an 05 since most of the bugs have been cured.

Hope your referring to the four-legged type and not the four-wheel type. 03-06 has had their share of minor symptoms. If you can find a low mileage well maintained 03-04 E55 with a warranty don't hesitate to take a long look. You may also save yourself some money.
