After a year, the calipers has taken a real minor beating and i'd like to touch up all the chips on the calipers. Are there any touch up solutions out there that is a exact match?

...........obviously to paint the calipers you need a heat resistant paint. I was unable to find the right color of heat resistant paint during my CLK32 project. I looked at the engine bay one day and noticed how hot it was after a shot drive with the s/c at full boost. Then it hit me..........the engine bay was painted with the same paint as the body of the car and was unaffected by the heat. I decided that vehicle paint will work just fine for caliper painting instead of buying folia Tec paint. Well it has been 3 years now and my CLK32 calipers still look like new. Here is a pic of it. https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...light=ted+w208

............so to answer your question, just buy vehicle paint in the color that you want and touch up your calipers and it will be just fine. The only problem is in matching the colors, not in the heat resistance.

I had some 744 and tried it on a chipped corner of the caliper...it was a close enough match. I agree about not having to use heat resistant paint...the whole caliper will turn gold anyway when it gets really hot.
