Dang Ted, you must have been giving MB Autowerks alot of business!!! Did Donnie mock up that intake box for you or is there a place i could buy one? What kind of gains did you see from the Kleeman? How does the car compare to 430s and 55s now?

..........The intake box is a custom job. Yes Donnie did it. As far as performance against CLK 430 0r CLK55, the best answer is that I don't know. Before the smaller pulley, the car made 270HP to the wheel which translates to about 340HP to the crank. The CLK 430 makes 275 HP to the crank and the W210 CLK55 makes 349HP to the crank. I would expect that the CLK430 will be no match for the car but I'm not sure about CLK55. I also have more aggressive gearing in this car. Before the mods were completed it ran a 13.9 in the 1/4 mile 2 years ago. I am yet to drag it again. The car is really for drag racing bragging rights but a comfortable and fast GT for out of town trips.

..............thanks for your comments. Yes I do like maroon, and as you noted I did add maroon to the interior of my G55. Not being gifted enought to paint on canvass, I approach these car projects as my own little art projects. Yes, so far I have been quite satisfied with the results.

..............the projector headlights are on my E55. The car is in the shop getting some other work done so I'm unable to take pics atthis time. ZAM200, has done quite a few projector headlights, I am sure if you contact him, he can provide you with pics.

I like the "standard" Lorinser front bumper... after seeing so many Lorinser DTM's and Carlsson RS setups it really sets the car apart.
