What is the official release date of the E63? Marcus Benz said he is delivering one tonight. I had heard previously that the official release date of the E63 was August 21st. Anybody have any info on this? It would be much appreciated!

 

CLS63 first (early July).

E63 mid- to end of July.

R63 and ML63 August.

Right on schedule per my notes -- yee haw!

 

The timing sounds right to me too. I know that the west coast VPCs will not be holding them, since there are realy no E55s leftover. Check your area. If there are still E55s, then that will explain why your chain is being yanked.

The first delivery date to a dealer is NOT the release date. Check out MBUSA's site for details. Also the AMG site has the release dates and phone numbers you can call to confirm.

Dealer tells me his first (unclaimed) black E63 will be in the showroom next week with a CSL63 not far behind.

 

Can somebody who has one post a pic? that will settle all of this.

 

Change over for the E55 in the factory has been the last 2 weeks of July. The E63s are in route now.

 

official or not, the car is here, and at some dealers, we've seen the pics.... now someone buy one, have it dyno'd and head out to the track already....
