Drove the CLS63 at LimeRock today
Big surprise today at the AMG Challenge at Limerock
No only were there several AMG CLS 63's on display, but they gave us 4 to drive. And thrash. At Speed. For the Whole Day. No E63's bu they also gave us two CLK63's (cabrios)
Awesome!!
Definitely very responsive on the track, gearbox is great, paddles are nice, chassis feels way more planted that the CLK 63 which danced around on the uneven road surface, and soooo much better than the CL55 which pushed like a dog in the turns.
Did not get to drag it against a 55k vehicle so cannot comment on acceleration from a dig, but out of corners it was quick to get up and go.
Will write more detail when I get back to FL on Friday... but for now 2 -thumbs up.

I'm going to the challenge in Joliet, IL in a few weeks. I was hoping we'd get to drive something with a 63. Now I REALLY can't wait. I want to check out that CLK.
