E class but with S chassis number.
Hey guys.. i have an E 300 Turbo diesel.. but according to the chassis number it has, its an S320 cdi ( checked by mercedes dealers in UK, Australia and UAE)... would some one have an explanation for this.?

well I guess your dealers checked the chassis-number in FDOK ("Fahrzeugdokumentation" in German). That's a system that has car info on every MB ever produced.
While it is possible for a cars ordering number to appear more than once in that system (for example if you have '95 car, chances are good a 2005 car exists with the same orderning number), its impossible to have a wrong VIN. A chassis-number is unique.. I dont know where you taking your number from, so either the car has a wrong chassis-nr printed into the car (almost impossible to imagine) or it is wrong in your vehicule documentation papers.
Last but not least.. it might go back to some illegal activity. With people faking your cars VIN, or editing it to make sure its origin cant be traced.
