ECU for Headers and Pullies...

My local Superchip tuner say that He can do custom program for ME...

He says We can make a program based on STOCK one...

Superchip will adjust everything besed on my stock numers... Most important A/F ratios and egnition timing...

He says all the tuners do the same and have simular programs...

Guys it it really that EASY: ???crazy:

Should I trust them and experiment...

We can adjust everything during driving and see how everything works...

Going to measure Boost pressure and Exhaust temps today...

There is some truth to it. Is it as simple as re-writing some code? Yes. How easy is it to decifer the code and make sure that you "find" what you are after? May be harder, and dependent on your ECU flash revision. Lastly, as with any codes, you have to worry about proper flash (i.e. no static, etc). In the end is it an anybody job? HECK NO!!

The main difference in all the tuners is how they go about finding the codes they want to change. MB does not release this info and there are no SOPs. SO, to say that the programs of all tuners is identical or even similar is a bit of a stretch. it all falls down to reliability. How many E55s has this dude worked on?
