I'm curious as to why a couple here burn bmw's..... but that aside i would've laughed and said "I hope you fall into a 7 ft hole" and walked away- maybe tell him to kick rocks too or something- does anyone here feel that the cls kinda feels like a boat?

I just saw your post, I had to tell you- he has a 150 shot under his passenger leather sparco seat with the secret button behind the hazard switch to hit the nos- he's fast true story, that's why he added weight to his wheels, did anyone get this guys plate? I've got a couple friends with quick cars that could break this guy's heart-

Its a mercedes board, of course they're going to burn BMW's. As they already own them, everyone here knows that E55's handle like pigs compared to Bimmers (IMO they handle like pigs, period), but damn those supercharged V8's are funfunfun and they basically kick the *** off anything that comes off a BMW assembly line. A little ribbing is fine by me.

I think the real difference between the 63 camp and the 55 camp is that 55 owners don't mind modding their cars, in fact they prize them for this adaptability. People who instinctively go for a 63 want a car that won't need any work out of the box to beat up a good amount of cars on the road.

To be honest ... the only reason is because I used to frequent BMW boards quite often. I've owned BMW's before and used to go there to get more info on upcoming models.

My "flame" was that it seems that a higher percentage of BMW forum readers are asses.

Now, on the other hand, ... I have to say MBworld has it share as well.

I can understand where you're all coming from and I agree in some aspects. maybe it's just because I'm younger and have always viewed bmw as a close equivalent to mbz- I guess i also just took offense to it since I own a bmw lol- but that aside this forum is pretty pleasant for the most part, there's definitely some what I'll call "interesting" people. anyways sorry for straying off topic everyone- btw that supra is p-r-e-t-t-y haha cough I WANT ONE cough

I doubt it would be. the CLS63 has less torque, and it comes in at higher rpms, and its heavier.

my guess is the new 63 engine is real similar to the m5 v10 0-110mph.
i race (at strip) with my buddys m5 all the time and my cls55 wins everytime in the 1/4 ( by 3-4 cars)
so IMO the new cls63 won't come close to the E55 which we ALL know is even FASTER than a cls55- end of story!
bottom line skinny california twerps have attitude problems-

Let it be.... I know a guy who said his E500 was faster than F 360.... and now he got a porsche, he said his porsche is faster than his E500.... so does it mean his porsche (C4S) is faster than an F-car??

So true, some monied people know NOTHING about any car but their own, and they think they can just assume its mega fast. I had some guy trying to convince me that his '01 S500 was faster than my M5. "Its got a V8, yo." Sure buddy, whatever you say.
