I SAW MY 1ST CLS63 TODAY AT A CAR MEET IN LA, BUNCH OF DIFFRENT cars and a few AMG`s including myself...so I see this guy standing against his cls63 already had wheels, already droped and all, Nice Car...anyways I Go up to him being Curious...and I start asking him how he likes it this and that, and then he goes is that your E55? IM LIKE yeah, he goes I tear that car to shreads, im like HA really? hes like yeah I RACEd 1 the other day beat him by 4 or 5 cars to 130...im like was that from a stand still? hes like yeah i destroyed him from start to end...that cars weak, lol i didnt know what to say to him, Honestly i wanted to slap him across the head, but felt i should respect a fello amg owner, anyways, asked him to race just to see how they compete , and he says i wouldnt waste my gas on another 55, whatver i said aiight and walked away...CAN HE BE THAT ****Y? I MEAN WILL THAT CAR REALLY KILL US LIKE THAT OR IS HE JUST FULL OF IT, AND HASNT RACED A SINGLE 55...I was suprised by his attitude...

Wow that sucks. You'd think he'd show some respect for a fellow MB and AMG driver... I mean, it's not like you drove a BMW or something.

I don't know which is faster really... I feel that the 55 would get a better start, but things would even out later on down the line. I could be wrong though.

you should have asked him if he knew that mb had to detune the 55's so that the 63 would be faster...then slapped him across the forehead.

We got guys all over the place saying the car just doesn't pull out the hole like the Komp. I mean guys that got OUT of the E55 and stepped into the 63 for a test drive.

Sorry but I just crawled back up to my computer because I laughed my *** off and was under the table for a while.

Anyway, I drove a CLS63 right after I drove an E63 4 days ago. My ordered CLS63 is at the port and it was an easy decision to not take the car after driving one. Just wrote a review about the car in an earlier thread, but anyway its slower off the line and about the same as speed picks up. I think it may be slightly faster between 100 and 150 but that would be a moot point for me since I do not drive such cars over 100 on public roads. For daily driving from stop light to stop light, the E55 (especially my K1) is way better and more responsive than any 63 engine.

Wow, what a D-Bag he was. Maybe the 55 he said he was racing wasn't even racing him?? I called my dealer at MB Manhattan to test drive a CLS63 they have on lot and see how she is next week. I'm expecting the 63 will be a bit pig legged coming out from a hole.

I wanted to race him, I said lets run and see how they compare, his anwser "I wouldnt waste my gas on a 55" HA i cant wait to see hs A$$ in the street, whatttta PUNK the meet was on veteran and wilsure in a parking lot near WestWood...i didnt think the 63 would be faster either i giggled inside but wasnt really sure...i love the 55 i scare the sh*t out of myself somtimes when i get up there in speeds....another funny thing, 20 minutes after i put this thread up I spoted my 1st E63 (parked) its kool, but the front end looks like my grandpa should be driving it with that big a$$ grill...the tail lights looked kind of ricey to me, but i guess it just takes getting used to...besides that BAD @$$ my hats off to another Beautiful AMG

2. E55s wreck faces due to it being a torque-monster!
3. why is that CLS kid so condescending? it's not like you showed up in a rice cooker.

lol...no plates just a black MB plate...with an RB tech Frame...the car was WHITE, lowered and had black Lowenharts on it the twin 3 spoke wheels...its some skinny little punk...haha if you see him DO better than a video, tell him the 55 is stock and put a hole threw his bumper with that K2

4-5 cars maybe with a 150 shot of nos ive had e55 and car is just a fast as e63 until about 110 then e63 moves better but not 4-5 cars, especially off the line
