I apologize for this guys behavior. It certainly is not indicitive of all CLS 63 owners being that I own one and love the E55k. He is completely out of his mind saying he pulled 4-5 lengths on a healthy E55. I have driven a few E55s and have nothing but respect for them. When I see one I give a thumbs up or a head nod to the guy. I certainly dont agree with the 63 bashing that occurs regularly here, but in this case this guy deserves it. When it comes to straight up drag racing the E55k is still the crown jewel of the AMG fleet, anyone who has driven all of the cars will know this.(I am excluding the 65 line up due to the difference in cost) Buying the 63 over the 55k for me was a personal decision that I came to after driving both cars, and I just prefered the smoother nature and better traction of the 63, but you will never see me saying a bad word about the 55s. GodFather, no more bull****. Its time to roll. I just finished up some stuff here at USC so I have a lot more time on my hands now. Lets find this waste of life and show him how its done.

55k is faster in a straight line up to 120mph then 63 pulls and passes and yes it would by 158 be 2-5 cars ahead depending on the heat, altitute etc...On the twisties stock for stock the 63 is better. 1/4 mile the 55 is better, likely 0-60 depends on launch. I beat most of the 55's but was passed nearly everytime on long straights where we could only achieve 105-115 top speed due to approaching turns. The 55 is awesome and likely the worlds fastest stock 1/4 mile sedan. I was getting pulled on as soon as I came out of the twisties and likely lost ground by 1-3 cars then could catch the 55 on the turns and pass. I wish we could just do a straight line to 186 mph. I think the 63 wins that race. Guy was clueless as the 55 is untouchable in most street races due to the torque monster.

You figure people who drops that kind of money on a cls63 would show a little more class. Don't lose any sleep on it, I am sure the dude offended more people than you think. Respect is earned not given. I am sure there is a handful of people that will school him in a lesson in humility.
