E55 Vs E63.....Video!!!
i believe a member ran a RennT stage1 and hit low 12's or high elevens on street tires.
But the interesting part, that his trap speed matched the M5's (118 +/-)
Stage 1 would be close, but I "think" the M5 will still run away after 125+.
But 125 is fast enough for me.. I don't want to go to jail.

to refresh you my car is modified by kleeman K2 + TB.
at the light the E63 jumped first , i think its because he has a better grip stock brand new tires....but then...the video will say a million words.

since you made this video sure you have taken a video at the last light!! why didn't you upload that vid up? i know you beat the E63 all three times but i just want to clear one thing, the reason he pulled away so hard in this video is cuz the car was in Manual mood and my cousin was trying it out but at the last race there was a clearer picture of how the car performed. (although he beat the E63 in the last race but not even a full car length only half a car length)
please if you have a video of the last race upload it in the forum to share it with everyone

i agree that my reaction timing was bad since i am not in my city and this guy knows when the green light turn on....i dont....secondly my tiers where bad...i am not trying to make any excuses the E63 jumped first and regardles of the truck you can see how i was catching up....please dont jump into conclusions about people dont know how to race on a straight line especially...there is no certain techniq..unless you have a unique manual e55, that no one knows about
there was rematches but i didnt record it...sorry...but like i said there are alot of E63s around and only time will tell..
please if you have a video of the last race upload it in the forum to share it with everyone
I was waiting for you to post...hope you are doing fine...you are right, i wish i had a video for the two last races....do you want to schedule one soon so we can post it and people can see how it is....it will be sooo interesting and sooo much fun..
If not, surely the heads of current and prospective E55 and E63 owners are going to explode arguing about 10ths of seconds!!!
On the same drag strip on the same day guarantees similar atmospheric condition (especially important since comparing a supercharged versus NA car) while testing in a controlled and safe environment, and using the same driver with the same equipment will help eliminate other variables.
One day, one test, once and for all! And then we can all go back to the comforting cocoon we live in and think about how crazy it is we are arguing over 10ths of seconds when we already drive some of the finest engineered automobiles in the world...

don't mind scheduling a race but my cousin just wants some time he doesn't believe the car is giving out as it is suppose to give now he has 2000KM on the car he says when he reaches 5000KM i hope that will be fine with you?if it was my car i would do it today LOL but i guess its his car he wants more time for his car to kick in
.
The only true way to judge these cars is to have an experienced tester drive both cars back to back a few times on the same day and within the same hour (to prevent temp disparities etc) and on the same track, same lane, same tires etc and review the data. There will always be the question of wheather one of the cars was not performing up to spec; testing more than just one of each model or having them dynoed will address this concern.
It will be of no suprise to me that most of the magazines will show the 63 being 2-3 10th's faster 0-60 than the 55 (mostly due to the 55's lack of traction) but they will most certainly comment on the difference in low/mid range thrust from the torque difference and quite frankly that's what most of us enjoy and use here in the US.
