E55 Yes, E63 NO!
Well it's been one month now since RJC and myself began discussions on my taking over his lease on his 2006 E55. To make a long story short, here are some pictures of the car being sent from Boca Raton, Florida to Corte Bella, Arizona. The ETA is this Monday August 21st and I'm feeling good again!

Hey Guys:
The E55 was my first 4 door car ever, my main reasons for getting the car was 1) an incredible deal and the spec's I wanted, thanks to AJF1 2) I always had a great deal of respect for the E55 3) I knew 06 was the last year for the mighty E55 4) I buy and sell cars very, very often; I'm in my mid 40's and have had over 37 to date.
I've been driving MB's as my primary car for the last several years but prior to I was driving mostly Porsche 911's, both turbo and non, so I ordered a 2007 Carrera S in Carrara White over Black with lots of goodies including the new 2007 Twin Turbo forged rims, I'll have the car in mid Oct and I'll post pics for sure.
The E55 was an amazing car, so powerful yet so smooth. I was also very impressed Porsche made it to the #1 spot in the recent JD Power initial quality ratings...something MB has not seen in a long time and needs badly. Although I had a few concerns with my 55 (like most of the MB's I owned over the years) the combo of MB's distintive styling, comfort and power is what always brought me back. Who knows maybe there will be another three pointed star in the garage someday.

I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy the p-car as much as I am. It truly is a joy to drive. 5 old months and already 8,000 miles Just did a round trip today from L.I. to Phila to take my mother in law to spend a few days with her ill sister. It was a great drive and scored points with my wife and in-laws
I'm trying to convince my wife to dump her ML500 and get an E63 or some type of sports sedan so I can enjoy the best of both worlds.

Intercity is on the same par as Horseless...fuel prices have really hurt us on transport costs. If you are PATIENT and can wait a couple weeks for pick up you can squeeze a better deal..or go on stand by. Hard to be patient when you are dying to get something !!!
