Air suspension failure

Pulled into the garage this afternoon and heard a loud whistling noise, air escaping, left front collapsed. What the hell happened???? "Stop car too low warning came on" Took it to the dealer, now I am driving a R500!!

Been there FYI, the airmatic shocks/struts need to be replaced in pairs. At least that is what I was told...

I had the "visit workshop" airmatic message error "B22"coming on between 72k-78" -(thats how long it took the dealer to "figure out" the problem)
valves, struts, harness changed..now the carr is just off warranty so i am hoping the the message wont show up again.
PS:the car still sits lapsided when its parked. The dealer said ,it is normal on the air suspention

Oh no!!! Now you're driving an R500!!!!!

They'll either replace the air strut or one of the pneumatic lines. It's no big deal, really.

And NO, they do not need to be replaced in pairs.

I thought it looked damn good too. Unfortunately it was accompanied by the visit workshop message. Plus, the other side of the car was at near normal height

The replaced both fronts on my car. Maybe it had to do with an updated part#?

An Accord is better than No Accord!! If I want a loaner, I have to rent one! Loaners aren't given out anymore where I live.

But he runs stock height normally. Picture his car if his car were lowered...ouch!

Yeah, but the one corner won't drop all the wy, if the other three corners are still up. If all four were lowered, then it would be different.

Bad luck with the 55, hopefully you'll be back on the road soon.

I don't get a loaner either. MB need to wake up.

Hm, perhaps. But I seem to remember a dealer bulletin from MBUSA saying that stuts never need to be replaced in pairs...unless both are bad of course. But then again there's exactly 34,504,234 bulletins from MB so it's possible I'm mistaken.

I think I'm only getting one strut. They called today and said due to HAZMAT REGS the thing has to be shipped ground; they cannot put it on a plane.

Due to fricking terrorism I will not receive my strut from Germany for 3 more weeks as it must be sailed on a ship due to it containing harzardous materials. I could meet DerekFSU this weekend if I had my ride intact.
