Quick Wheel Question: E55/SL55

But as Jangy says try it out... only way to be sure. I think E's fit on SL's but SL dont fit on E's.

THey do offer a 10 inch rear with that style. It was made for SL's.
Those off-sets are way to aggressive for your large tire desires. You would have to machine down at least 8 mm or so lol.

The SL rims are 0.5" wider and just about the same ET as the CLS rims and they needed shaving, so I'm sure the 31 is just too aggressive.

AMG Style IV 19 inch 2 piece rims in following config:
Front 19" x 8.5" with 30 offset, rubber B/Stone RE050A 255x30x19
Rear 19" x 9.5 with 31 offset, rubber B/Stone RE050A 285x30x19
First when the car came off the ramp I thought well they dont fit I am going to scrape the fender for sure ... BUT no. Somehow or other no touching.
I initially left the garage with the vehicle raised to max just in case and set my side mirrors so I could see the wheels. Took it very easy. Slowly increased the speed and the car automatically comes to normal ride height and still ntg. So Sport 1 : ntg; Sport 2 : ntg; Sport 2 under hard accel : ntg.
Did some fairly hard cornerering as well with a load and ntg. So think its almost safe to say they fit - but only just. Its so close perhaps even a different tyre manufacturer may cause a problem.
BUT : If your car is lowered - forget it - they will never fit.
On an aside this B/Sone rubber is awesome - the grip is phenomenal and I have not yet been able to get the ESP light to trip yet - amazing and very relived and happy....
Ill take some pics after a car wash.
