I'm GLAD you are ok victor... I think I've had already 2 recalls done on my brakes and last year they replace brand new pads under warranty and this year they are warranty'ing those new pads.. Apparently they made alot of noises...

Now I am scared as well...Has there been any recalls with SBC system by MB ???

Where is the garantee that I wont fail again ???

How can I check if anything has been done with my car ???

 

There have been 2 or 3 SBC recalls since I've had my car. Mine has gone in for all of them. My car is fine right now with the brakes, but I still feel a bit uneasy driving quickly.. The thought is always in the back of my mind now and I am hoping that will go away with time.

When I went to pick up my car, they didnt give me any paperwork.. My S.A. told me no worries and he would get in touch with me later on to "settle up" and would mail out the paperwork (I was in a rush to get back to a meeting). I purchased the 3yr/80K extended warranty at the same time for $4,100 but haven't paid for it as of yet...
