Stablemate for the E55??
WOW, though, they really hold their value.
Just to clarify, I am not really interested in a 996 TT as i know it will get old to me quick and I will want a 997. I was, however, hoping the 993 would be cheaper, but it looks like they aren't.
As far as the GT3 vs TT argument. I have aspirations of tracking it, but I know that reality is it will be a street racer more than not. I do not mind the rough ride (actually looking forward to it), but will I have times when the extra HP/TQ of the TT would be better? I personally am worried because acceleration is more important on the street than it is on the track as the car is typically already up to speed for the most part. Basically, I'd hate to get a GT3 and it NOT be an outright DREAM car. I already know the TT would, especially when I mod it for improved handling, etc.
The supercars are too flashy for me. the Ford GT is an option, however that i do like. I just do not want to get one and have it fall apart with a few miles.
For now, i will call the cat about the 993TT. Hoehn will sell me a 997TT/GT3 at invoice, but that is probably it. Keep the ideas coming. The purchase is still ontrack with a late fall due date!!

When I sold my E55 to DragonAMG to get a C2S I was very concerned that I would miss the brutal HP and TQ of that car. Would I do it again? Every day and twice on Sunday. You won't miss the HP cause you'll still have the E55 for that. Believe me i wish I could have kept both The p-car will just give such a different driving experience you might not miss it as much as you think.
The S550 is a great car as well. Just from the list compiled, though the S8 or even the S65 might fit the bill

As far as the missing part. Keep in mind that I am comparing a TT to a GT3. The E55 is going NOWHERE. Given that, do you feel that the raw handling of the GT3 is that much greater than the TT (given rear drive, etc) to make it worth giving up the power of a TT? the price is VERY close depending on options, and i like all my biatchees loaded.

I bought it with 14k miles on it and sold it with 28k miles. Sold it for what I paid for it after driving it for almost 4 years! Buy one right and you can drive it for free like I did!Just bought an S2000 for some cheap, practical fun and put the balance back in the bank. Nothing as satisfying as downsizing your lifestyle.

I was half kidding though about the LX470. Don't get it, don't you already have a Commandarararr?

Get an SL. It's two cars in one.
S2000 rocks. I almost got one black on black but realized that it'd be hell to drive to college and back.

I thought I gave you guys a budget?? I heard the GT2 will be VERY expensive?? Any one have any info to the contrary?
The Noble is as happy on the road as it is on the track and there are few, if any, other cars you can say that about.
BTW, as for off roaders, don't discount the Range Rover. That thing is almost unstoppable on 18s, as is the LR3. They also double up as fine transport for 4 people too.
The AM is nice but way overpriced in my opinion. More show than go I think. That kind of coin there are other alternatives - especially for an extra car.
Jangy, you don't mind we're making decisions for you, do you?!
The car would slam so hard under full power during shifts I was amazed it even held together. It took some time to get really comfortable with a gated 6sp. but now that I am,it's great.I still have a 911 carrera and it feels sloppy now to shift.
