Mustang Dyno and K2 Owners

Gentlemen and Ladies: just had my ECU "threemapped" again and have some dyno results to share. Data from today show rw hp 422 and 482 rw torque @ 5500 rpm. These are about the best I think I will get and thanks again to Cory/Brandon and my tuners locally at Motorwerks for putting up with my OCD syndrome!
I dont want to get into the Dynojet vs. Mustang debate at all, but can anyone reveal to the forum what their Mustang dyno resullts look like on their K2 setups? Thanks-Joker

...........I'll be the first to admit that it is not fun when you post your HP figures and everyone starts saying how low it is. But you did ask. The HP figure is very low for a K2 car. well, it also depends on what your baseline was to begin with.

i'm sure people will say hp should be higher. i don't know enough be able to agree or disagree with that...all i can comment on is what i've witnessed and the 14% difference between a mustang and regular dyno that jakpro stated (and erased) would fall in line with what i've witnessed at our local shop.

besides k2 cars, i'd also be curious to know what other stock e55's are reporting on mustang dynos.

Can you post the plot? Do you know if corrections were used in your numbers? Your HP peak should be closer to 6100 RPM - were you hitting the speed limiter in 4th gear?

Joker the following dyno plot is for a stock e55, asp pulley/ecu e55 and a stock m5 on a mustang dyno.

This e55 stock made 389 and 422 with pulley and ecu. The m5 made 417 stock. The numbers are little hard to read so i apologize.

As far as the mustang dyno to dynojet conversion 14% is on the high side imho. The typical % is 8 to 12 from what i have seen. The e55 above made 419 rwhp sae when stock on a dynojet . So for a k2 i believe its on the low side.

Either way forget about the chassis dyno and take it to the track, the best dyno in the world, and have some fun.

after crunching some #'s you're probably right regarding the 14% being a little high. 10% seems to equate more appropriately. bingo on your last statement...the track is where the truth will shine.

I've just been the king or errors this week and just chickened out.

Least this post boosted my confidence a bit.
