50th Anniversary, anyone going to Chicago?

I'll be taking the E55K and starting on Tuesday traveling the RT 6 trek to Chicago...

for next weekends Mercedes Benz 50th Anniversary celebration.

Anybody else planning on attending any of the Chicago Anniversary activities..?

Saturday is the Concours d'Elegance at the Mayslake Peabody Estate. in Oak Brook, IL which is part of the DuPage County Forest Preserve.

Events are going on Friday 15th, Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th being the RT 66 Kick-Off day for the people driving RT 66 all the way to the Santa Monica Pier in CA.

I'm driving from NJ to Chicago and then back after the celebrations on Sunday. I did RT 66 5-Yrs ago in a Corvette cruise event. Yes... It's great to do it once...
