Ebay Trunklid Spoiler for $80????
What do you guys think of this thing?

I was thinking about buying it, but stopped by a local dealer to look at an E63 to see what a factory one looks like. The factory AMG piece is $612 and doesnt just sit on top of the trunk lid, it wrapps around towards the back side a bit so that its perched on the corner of the trunklid. I also looked at Carlsson spoilers. They looked similar to the ebay one above...a bit bigger but did not seem as nice as the factory AMG. Does anyone have this ebay piece? If I order the factory E63 wing, id have to have it painted brilliant silver since the factory only has it in some new silver offered on the E63

go for it... its only $80 + you can always return or resell it back if its not to your liking.

I have it on my car. I figured same thing... $80, what the hell! I've had nothing but compliments, and think it looks great on the car. It is true.. there is about a 1/4" or so gap on each side to the end of the decklid... but at $1400 an inch... ($ 612 + paint for 1/2 an inch in additional length) I can live with it. I'll post pic tomorrow.
