and NOS LOL
Renn, can you please please talk one of the Scottsdale exotic club members to buy this friggin car (E63) so we can see what it will do your track down there.
However thanks for posting!
The 996TT was automatic. Which is faster for this model?
I know the new 997TT the 6spd Auto is a bit faster than the Manual.

None of the E55 guys want the 63 because they've heard that it's slower
Keep in mind, that in a street race from a roll, the trapspeed is a more important number than the ET. ET involves a lot of factors (launch, tires, gearing, etc.) For example, I've got a buddy with a Kenne Bell Cobra that ran 9.78@128, my GT2 ran 10.77@131, with a high trapspeed of 134. When we went from a roll, I pulled about 7 car lengths on him up to 130.
With all that being said, a stock 996TT traps around 115mph, so it should be able to pull on the 63 from a roll, but there are many factors that could change that (drivers' reaction time, gears, etc...)

Thanks for taking the time to do these races and share your videos.
So that we can fairly compare the perfomance of these cars, please confirm the following:
1. Was there a passenger in either or both cars? It seems the filming in the Porsche was done by someone, since the camera moves to follow the other car.
2. Judging by the hand position of the driver, I assume the Porsche is an automatic. Is that right?
BTW, to have that many miles on your car already, you must have had one of the first E63s in the world, or really drive a lot.
Thanks again.

once i do you know i will post a vid promise.guys i would like to say something even if there was a fractions of seconds that have gone wrong in either races, with the feed back that we have recieved from this froum should tell us that the porsche should have at least caught up not pass but CATCH up at least thats what i think anyways! (CLOSE THE GAP) which it never did and the E63 seemed to make it bigger
