IAT Intake temps?

Can some of you data logger people give me an idea of what your intake temps are ranging from, during everyday driving, running hard, etc? Mines been running from 165F-196F,and stay in between there all day.Looks like the pump is going out AGAIN,no?

199F is the cutoff point for the IAT for ECU disengaging S/C clutch.

On my car with Evo cooling system I saw 10 - 15C over ambient on very hot humid days (34 - 37C).. Now with the cool weather, I am at 5 - 10C over ambient. Cooling system upgrade really works!

Iat

while not a E55k my car is supercharged so it might give you a reference.

My IAT's range from mid 20s C on a cold night to high 50's C hot day after punching it for a reasonable length of time. I have yet to see it hit 60s C even with extremely aggressive driving during a hot day(over 90 degrees F).

Normal driving it is usually in the 30's to 40's C.

Called an made the appt. for Monday to have the pump replaced again. This would also explain why I couldnt run the car back to back at Fontana that day.

Today it went from 73C at start up then stayed upwards of 80-91C while driving.

Dropped the car off at 7:15 this morning and picked it up at 5:30pm tonight! They changed the IC pump and replaced the command (GPS)antenna as well, was having problem with the "map" screen sometimes.Tech said pump was dead for sure,so in went a new one.On the drive home the car felt good but never got a good run with it.I'll be back to the dyno soon to see if the dead pump was hurting me or not,and also to the track as well.

Any 55's or 63's want to make some track runs On Oct.6th at Fontana or any Thursday night at Irwnidale for some 1/8th mile passes?

interesting

I guess the K cars run a lot hotter IAT's than a NA thats been supercharged. I guess this makes sense I'm running a lot less boost.
