I contacted a few of you. Lets all see when the best time for us all to leave on Nov. 3rd is. Since the events are Nov 4th & 5th, we should be OK just leaving Nov 3rd in the afternoon if not morning.

Lets start one of these funky lists...

1) Dinko
2)
3)
4)
5)
etc.

Where in Florida? Jacksonville is about 5 hours from ATL. Looks like a few people may be coming up from FL so perhaps you could join that group.

Do you know what city? Strange that it doesn't stop in ATL....

It's a 8 - 9 hour drive. Maybe even a 6 or 7 hour drive since we're in AMG's!

Let me know if you're coming down, where exactly does the train stop?

The autotrain goes nonstop between Lorton VA (just south of DC) and Sanford FL (30 miles north of Orlando).

When I took it I had a sleeping compartment. I walked to the dining car for a late night snack and saw all the old folks sleeping in coach and thought they were all dead.

Our member, Torquey55, is only minutes away from there. If blackbenzz decides to come down he can meet up with Pete (Torquey55), and then meet me and possibly MiamiE55 in Daytona.

Yeah, I'm less than 10 minutes from the train station in Sanford. The only way I can make it to this meet is if I leave Saturday. Blackbenzz if you come on the train Friday, you are welcome to stay at my house & we can hit the road together real early Saturday AM. I really want to go to this meet.
Do it man, do it!

I am as psyched for this meet as you are Dinko. Any thoughts on early Saturday departure if you are not in WPB?

I'm cool with a early Saturday departure. I'll most likely be in Orlando during that weekend so I would be leaving from Otown as well.

Wow, thanks for all the offers. If nobody from up north plans on driving I will take the train. I dorve 8 hours from Boston today and although I'm dead tired I enjoyed every second of it! The supercharger was loving the nice cool air.

I'd advise against taking the auto train. If you're in Maryland you only save about 150 miles of driving if you went to Sanford unless you want to see MIckey and you'd also have a 16 hour train ride.

Thats true. I'm gonna do my best to convince others to drive down as well so I wont have to drive so far alone.
