I don't miss driving in that type of weather one bit...makes me appreciate the hot, humid Florida weather that much more.

I thought that was my car for a second. It's never been to an automatic car wash. I only wash by hand. So basically it looks like that all winter.

As I was driving home yesterday, some one was also taking pictures like that of car as well. I guess my car is extremely dirty, too (been raining the last couple days)

It looks standard winter to me. I seldom wash my car in LA so it looks like a rolling dirtbox most of the time - you know, when the wheels get so black from brakedust that they begin turning brown? yeah, like that...
Nothing i'm particularly proud of, but it does help for the odd late night out in Hollywood, when you come back to your car at 4:30 a.m. and it's still intact in some by-now-unattended outdoor parking lot because no one gave it a second look. Try that with your AMG all polished and poshed out - I'll take your word for it!!! Basically, though, it is only the difference between paying $7 to park or paying $15. Hell, that's a drink or two!
v
p.s. the added bonus of having a mostly dirty car is that, on the occasions when I wash it, i find myself staring at it in the garage, falling in love with it all over again. Because I'm very fickle and get bored with cars / want another one usually within a year or so (a very expensive character flaw), this "dirty-car/clean-car love strategy" is crucial to my mental and financial wellbeing!!!
