What options did you get on the E55 and are you leaving it stock?

My options are...

-Premium Package
-Dynamic/Ventilated Seats
-Lighting Package
-Electronic Trunk Closer
-iPod hook up in glove compartment
-KeylessGo (I forgot this one)

I really wanted Parktronic but it didn't come with it. Steve gave me a quote but it's kinda pricey to have done but if I do decide to do it I'll have Steve work on it since he sounds like he's the MB man around here!

...definitely looking to mod it! Especially hearing that I can get the ASP pulley mod for less than $1K! Then again, I wouldn't mind putting money into better wheels before beefing up the engine. I heard my local dealer is Renntech friendly, so maybe I'll keep it all Renntech when I go with mods. Any thoughts!?

You got my vote to RENNtech it! Besides everyone on this forum is Kleemann except for Vic55 and Benzgal, so shake things up. Show everyone the power of RENNtech!

Thanks guys for the kind words!

I'm trying to find a local place that will Dyno this beast. I found one about a year ago for the C55 but it was 45 minutes away and they used another brand Dyno so I really want to use the one everyone else has to get a more accurate measurement of my car. Do you guys think this matters?

One thing I noticed is the Navigation voice sounds a little different from the one in my C55. The E55 sounds more like a computer voice whereas the C55 sounds smooth when it speaks. Strange b/c they're both '05's.

It's the same in a '05 S55 as well. The reason I've concluded as to the difference in voice sound is simple..... the C55 is better. Here is what I suggest you do pull the engine out of your E and put it in the C.That way you'll have the fastest AMG out there and the best

No, it was built by "Wilson Homes" a local builder here in Fresno/Clovis area but I've seen versions of it that are similar by other builders.

NP - agreed.

Here's a list of DynoJet locations shown for the Fresno area:

JDM2 Performance
2695 N. Sunnyside #104
Fresno 93727
Tel: 559-291-2999

Method Motorworks
5489 W. Mission Ave. Suite 103
Fresno, 93722
Tel: 559-275-7640
Website: http://www.methodmotorworks.com

Whipple Industries
3292 1/2 North Weber
Fresno 93722
Tel: 559-442-1261
Website: http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com

Can't vouch for accuracy - the info came from the DynoJet site - worth a few calls. Whipple certainly has experience with Lysholm superchargers.

Congrats Nick! The car and house look amazing. Where did you hear MB of Fresno was Renntech mod friendly? When I brought my C in, they acted like I was the first person who ever lowered a Mercedes and refused to try and diagnose a sound I had been hearing from the suspension. I told them the sound was there before I had the coilovers installed and was pretty sure it was related to faulty control arm bushings, but they weren't having it. It's probably my first and last service visit there.

If you look close, his house has a second garage on the left side for 3rd car.
