E55 vs Porsche Cayman S

E55 vs Porsche Cayman S
I was approching a toll booth waiting up for a CL55 I saw in back of me when Porsche Cayman blows by me..... I'm like, ok, let's go..... after the toll booth after traffic cleared up, he goes for it, starting from 80 MPH, I blew by em from 80-120MPH like he was standing still...... I know it's not a fair matchup, but it was fun.... he didn't come back for a 2nd try.....

had p-car cayenne turbo try and pull on my stock 55 (will be RENNtech-1 by weekend) about two weeks ago. blew by me on fwy. i caught up and he tried to pull from even roll-pulled by a few car lengths immediatley. when slowed, driver pulled up (70 yr old Marin County guy) and asked what gear it was in...i said third...he said he was only in second and mentioned his p-car had 450 hp (w/ a grin)..then asked about mine-i said much more and soon will be ~550hp. he gave me a wink, thumbs up and shook his finger pointing forward (signaling to punch it and move ahead of him). of course i slightly mashed it and he gave me a thumbs up as i pulled away. pretty cool 'ol hot-rod gran'dad.

right now, I rather buy a 335i coupe and chip and work on the suspension a bit.

Went looking at the Cayman today.. I was disappointed with how much plastic the car has inside and how cheap it was. After driving a 335i on a test drive that cost $45k with options then walking over to see a Cayman with tons of plastic and looked like crap compared to the BMW's inside not to mention the 335I would eat the cayman in a strait line, but $63k wow come on almost 20k more than the 335i and it has more plastic than a kia.

63k is a lot for that car..... I think the 335i and Cayman would be close....
