they're no hre's but they'll work for now!!!

fronts are 19x8.5 et35 with 255/35 and 2" lip and rears are 19x10 et40 with 285/30 and 3.5" lip by nad wheels. a large lip was mandatory for me and i thought it was amazing to be able to fit that size lip without going with a true multipiece design.

absolutely perfect and no rubbing (yet) even with approximate 1" lowering all the way around. so write down those offsets boys (and girls)...they work!!! i'll try lowering a little bit more to see what i can get away with but i like the stance it has now.

ps. please excuse my lack of etiquette and posting pictures of a dirty car.

yeah... i actually went out to the garage to look at the car after i uploaded the pics. apparently something oily got on my california duster which made those REALLY ugly swirls but they wiped off with a microfiber cloth. there are some actual swirls but the paint itself is not as bad as the pics.

Well, the lips don't look like 3.5", but they look great regardless, especially for budget wheels. Good call!

Take them back quick and demand an apology from the vendor.
I am very offended... this is the dirtiest car I have ever seen...

On a serious note - good choice, your car looks great!

The lips look really small, but i think it is the curve to the spokes. Nice looking setup. Any plans to drop it any more? Also, any rubbing after any hard driving?

yeah the picture does look a bit deceiving because of the way the spokes curve back and the reflectiveness of the lip. the rear lip looks nice and wide in person and it's easier to acknowledge it's true lip size from the semi close-up shot.

i will drop the car a bit more soon just to see how far i can go but so far zero problems with moderate cornering or over any typical road bumps or undulations.

i'm very pleased with the outcome and minimal expense (relatively speaking) i had to fork over for this set-up!

Definitely drop it. It looks really nice. It even looks like you have more room in the rear. I wonder how much room you have left on the INSIDE of the rears. If you get a chance, run one side up on a curb to compress the back and crawl under there and see how close you are to rubbing?? 10" rims with et40 is looking like the fit.

i'll do that this weekend. even with the rear to the point where the tread is tucked, i can still fit a pinkie finger between the tire and the fender lip. if the inside has that much room there's a distinct possibility of fitting 295's without rubbing.

Looks nice. Any plans for the bumper reflectors? Maybe some euro impact strips?

Now I want to see some pics of your 748R. I had a 749R, just sold it a month ago. Still have an R1 LE, a ZX-10R, and a Monster S2R-1000

don't even get me started on the 748r. it is arguably the strongest 748 based ducati in the world as far as i've been able to research. the list of mods is long so i won't bore the forum, i'll just post a picture.

the rims ARE crazy. it was really weird pulling them out of the box and the box weighed more!!! i'm not a fan of the carbon fibre look but nobody would touch them when i wanted them painted...probably better off since they are a structural component and a failure wouldn't be pretty!
