But I wait till the next coming Tuning Fair 'Essen Motorshow' in Germany. Maybe I can make a good deal with Brabus again for those gorgeous 20" Monoblock VI rims!

My car went back to the workplace last week, because the Bi-Xenon didn't work! Everything worked accept the highbeam lightfunction .....
The electricity from the E55 is much different as the E63. The E63 Bi-Xenon's works with a complete different system and cables!
The Dealer, Importer, the MB factory in Germany and even AMG did'nt have an solution for me! The only thing they could say is: 'Yes, those cars are different and that won't work
'.
So there was just one option left... The AMG Performance studio, and they have given by telephone the advise how to build the backside of the E55 lamp into the new E63 lamp! And everything is working perfectly now!
Thanks to the AMG PERFORMANCE STUDIO

2005 Flint Grey E55
I am planning to have my bodyshop do this conversion; will i have to do some custom work on it, as in the E63 parts won't fit onto an E55 as if it were E55 parts? Also i'm still not sure if i have all the right parts. Here's what i came up with so far to have the front end of an E63, please tell me if i need more or if i don't neeed the part. Also if anyone knows the part numbers that'd be great.
E63 Front Bumper
E63 Hood
E63 Side Fenders
E63 Grill
E63 Headlights
E63 Foglights
E63 Front lip

Yes, you can put all the parts of the E63 on the E55 without a problem. Only the module of the Parktronic needs to be replaced and the high beam of the lights wouldn’t work because of the electricity (different between E55 and E63) this can be solved if you take the backside of an E 55 lamp and the front from the E63.
When you gone do a complete facelift, you need more parts like:
MB 'star' (yes this is different)
Fog lights
Mirrors
And of course the rear is new, but this will be another investment
Please share pictures of the result!

Jangy you must agree that the M113 motor is a low tech motor on the level of say an old school pushrod V8. Its big on power but low on tech. The new AMG engine uses tapets, variable valve timing on intake and exhaust valves and other items not even seen on the old motor. Heck the old M119 had more technology than the M113.
From a design point of view the M113 is a dead blow hammer and the 63 is a sword. Both hurt when you be wacked with them but the 63 does it with far more grace and style.
As for the E55 being the last real exclusive AMG I disgree again. AMG's have been ho hum items since the late 1990's. The last really nice AMG was also the first... the C36. It was a low volume car with real upgrades all around. You dont see any amg these days with unique control arms, bushings, subframe upgrades etc. The current amg's share all suspension parts with the OEM car and just use different shock and springs rates and stiffer roll bars.
It is fact that the AMG cars are all money makers. In 1999 I was told that an E55 cost only 10k more to make than say an E430 but they charged what 20k more for the upgrade? I think AMG cars are the SUV's of the MB world.... huge money makers.

to argue one of you points it sound slike the new C63 has many thing that are exclusive to it. Correct me if im wrong but from the article i read they really stepped it up a notch.

alright.. plain and simple.. the guy got into a accident, so he just replaced everything with e63 parts, and when he bought that car, its not any different to any of our e55s
