'03 E55
Intake tubes
Has anyone seen intake tubes that are accordian in the middle of them but also have air intake openings all the way around the tubes. These were stock on S500(220 chassis). I tried them on my E55 and they fit. I was wondering if anyone has seen them or given them any thought for increased air intake. Also the left side if bigger than the left side on the stock E55 tube.
I was thinking that it's bringing in more air but its also air coming from the engine compartment and outside air where the stock E55 tube just brings in outside air.
I have the part #'s if anyone is interested (I left them at work) I can post them. If this is an old topic I apologize, if not maybe it can help.

I tried playing with the bigger intake for the drivers side but couldn't get the intake to fit tight and just ended up wrapping them with header wrap.
I see your from Maryland, Which part? This evening I saw an E55 on route 27 ending to Germantown was that you?
