Question Wheel ? for wheel experts

I just got my 20" wheels delivered and they need hubcentric rings which I dont have yet...I nee to know what is the impact/possible damage of driving on the new wheels for a week without them

I sold my stock wheels and just need to know if I should postpon the deal or just put them on for a week no harm done

Let me know asap...I have till tommorow 2 pm eastern time

Thank you

PJ

PS: If anyone in the VA/DC area know of a place I can pick them up on the spot, please let me know

I am probably not the person to answer this as I hate using spacers, rings, etc. But, if I were you I'd call all the tuner shops in your area. There are at least 3 shops in San Diego that carry them, so I'm sure you can find them somewhere.
Do you plan to just ride it without or are you just wanting to put the rims on to get it home? I'll be honest enough to say that lug centric should be safe even if it isn't ideal. Keep the speed down and the miles low.

lug centric is not the best but it has worked forever and it's not going fail now. until you get your spacers, maybe stay away from the 200mph runs.

I dont need spacers...just the ring to adjust the size of the center to fit snug....

What I am really asking is can the car be driven normal distances...no racing etc...for 1 week without it...will that cause damage? will the wheel fall off? get loose ?

sorry, i said spacers but i was talking about the same hub centric rings you were.

and yes...you will be fine with lug centric mounting, it won't cause any damage and the wheel won't fall off.
