This car is for sale at Lotus of Scottsdale. Says 251 miles and one of only three in the US any one want to guess what the price is??

I Know of FIVE CLK DTMs (Coupes) Here in So Cal.......
They can ask they sky........But Only One Minor Problem..........
Its NOT Legal to Drive here in the states...Unless One slaps Dealer Plates on it

If this is the car that I think that it is:
Final price will be at or just below $500K -- and should be at or below $400K.
This one is a good car; modification was done correctly.
Legal in the US for limited road use under S&D.
And it is my understanding that the Laguna Niguel car is NOT modified and legal for road use in the US....

I know you catch a lot of heat from other members and I have often thought it was unwarranted but good grief, a CLK DTM has almost nothing in common with a CLK55...and to call it a CLK55 with a body kit is plain out stupid

You know nothing about cars, do you? It's not just about performance and its not just about leather interior. For starters, they aren't competition to one another in any sense. Secondly,there are 100 CLK DTM's in the world compared to 1500 CGT's and only a few of those are here in the US. Hell, there have to be a dozen CGT's in Manhattan alone! The CLK DTM isn't just a body kit...In fact, there's more carbon fiber than sheet metal.

That said, the CLK I really want is this one:
Minus the lightbar of course! I bet the upcoming CLK63 Black Series will look just like this. The next generation CLK should have some fender flares similar to this too.

i know the specs of the car, and i know its an amazing car, but what i meant by that was that its not worth $500,000. Even for that much performance i wouldnt bewilling to spend an extra $425,000 over the base cost of an clk55amg

It can be driven in US for only 2500 miles per year. The convertible is on it's way next month.

I drive a E55T, SLK55 and 65 Mustang Conv.
I saw the car at MBLN and while it is very pretty and I am certain incredibly fast, I have no idea what it is that makes it not street legal in the US. Care to enlighten me?
