How do I tune the computer if I install these SLR cams? I am stock right now but really want some mods for the E55. Pulley, exhaust, TB, and the cams should be good. The computer thing is what really has me curious. Thanks for any feedback.

What is the difference in the SLR cams... is it lift, duration or both. I was wondering about piston to valve issues if any...!

Did you ever figure out what the problem was with the erratic idle?

 

Just vacuum leak, now it's smooth as glass.

Still need that spacer for the cam sensor, but so far so good.

 

if you want to give me the specs and let me know what type of material it needs to be i could probably have the spacer machined for you...and maybe run off a few of them for when others want to do this.

if victor is already on this, i'm not trying to step on his toes...just give back to a board that's given a lot to me already.

All of the SLR cams & cam gears were ordered.. I've been waiting for them to arrive.. I received the first pair (for me) but of your kits I only received the left side cams so far.. Seems the right side were sent separately. I was told they were on the way and should be here any day now.. I have all your cam gears sitting here.. as soon as the remaining cams arrive I'll start packing & shipping.

I am trying to get the dimensions for the spacer that is needed.. I havent made it yet because I havent had a chance to tear down the spare 55K motor I bought to test fit my cams & gears in there. That's the only way to get accurate measurements..

 

A few sets of SLR cams & cam gears are here now.. I am not sure exactly how many but I should have them by tomorrow.. I'll go search out some suitable packing material and will get them out via Fedex by Friday...

Guys.. Please email me your Phone #s because Fedex wants them on the way bills in case of any problems.

Does Jakpro have the gears as well? Glad to hear he got the idle issue fixed. If the gears will bring the power back to the low end then I am in. I feel a sign on coming to my paypal account.

 

FYI,

All the SLR cams & Cam gears are in my possession.. I'm just looking for suitable packaging so I can ship these things and not worry about them getting damaged.

Sorry I missed this post.. Yes.. I got the cam gears for JakPro1 and he installed them.. His car is running PERFECT and is making alot of power with the 80mm TB & SLR cams combo.
