A 150 shot isn't that much for an LS1. You need to make sure you have the fuel, but it's not on the ragged edge. I ran a 150 shot on a mostly stock LT1 with just a fuel pump swap.

If the guy is anywhere close to stock, Jay is going to slaughter him.

u go to jail only if they catch u i raced so many times never got cought hittin 95 on a 50 speed limit. my car is so slow its not even funny on the way to my friends house i got to race a G35 the 2 door one a bimmer those suv X5s and a Mustang GT and a bike lol. first was the Mustang GT he was going 50 thats the speed limit i went 55mph and he went crazy 10 cars infront of me by the time my car did 65mph he probably hit over 100. Then 1 min later a G35 tried to catch up to me but he could not then the light cought us and i knew it was a race he did not even look at me. There was 3 lanes first lane a bike sec lane g35 3th lane ME k the Light turns green i step on it he steps on it too by the time i was 25mph he was 2 cars infront of me then the bike i guess he was like wtf its a race so he smokes me and him a stupid Bimmer x5 SUV catches up to us flashes hes blue lights and passes me up with me holdin the pedal all the way down i was so pissed. Then we got to the light G35 turned left I did not see the Bike i guess he was 2 lights infront already. so it was me and that stupid BMW suv light turns green and SUV takes me WTF

blackbenzz, LS1s are decently strong (mechanically) motors. It's safe to say many are stronger than AMG's motors.

 

 

Don't underestimate a LS1 with 150 shot of N20. I'm not sure if it has traction control or an automatic, but it will run very strong.

That being said, my times with my L98 with a cam and Lingefelter intake, headers and no exhaust will run mid to high 11s easily with a "hot" bottle of nitrous. LS1 is a much higher reving motor and potential is there.

A standard 6speed in experienced hands can run very good times.. Without N20, fuggittaboutit. He has no chance under any circumstances. He'll be a dot in the rear view mirror after about 20 seconds.

I still don't think it will hang with a E55 unless everthing is perfect for him. The E55 is the easiest car I have ever dragged before b/o the traction and torque. Be sure to get good pictures or videos so I can show my unbelieving ignorant friends.

 

I ran 150HP wet shot in a bone stock L98 POS (2 bolt mains) motor with a MSD computer with a 2 degree retard for 10 years, prolly 20-30 bottles and never had one problem. As long as a lean situation does not develop all that will burn up is clutches. I switched to a Centerforce Dual Friction and cured that problem. Done correctly N20 is not that bad on a good motor.
