I've been challenged...
I told this story to 2K6E55, 03C4s and Silversdm3 on Wednesday @ Fusion that I’ve been challenged by a friend from High School to race his 1998 C5 Corvette. Everytime I see him at the club, the boy yapped in my face, drunken breath, wanting to race for money, he’ll smash me this and that... His boys know that he has no chance because his vette is bone stock and doesn’t know jack about the 55K motor. I kept it cool until last night, perfect timing to engage the battle. Having a good time with 2K6E55 and my friends, the old school homey the clown friend happened to be at the same spot so I called him over to ask when he wanted to run. Ego started again, the boy said he’ll give me a car length because my sedan is heavy and be scared because he’s on the bottle w/150 shots. He even wanted to race Jeff (2K6E55) too. Regardless if he’s squeezing or not, I made a bet to put up or shut up that the loser will pick up the tab for a party of 10 at the Boathouse seafood restaurant ($500 estimate). My buddy which is my DJ partner in the crew hang out with him frequently confirmed that he’s bluffin’ on the bottle and the car is all stock. I don’t know much about a 98 C5 but I’m trying to put this challenge to rest hopefully by next week or today, 2K6E55 will videotape it. We shook hands and my friends witnessed the bet, let’s see if he will keep his honor.

BTW my rival thinks I'm only pushing 400HP. I said said yes and it weighs like a tank too

the only place that camera should be mounted is in the c5 pointing at his face. cos we all know what the outcome of the race will be....but seeing the guys face as he gets left behind will be priceless!!!

The Vette will hang with the 211 E55 for a little with the 150 shot spray. Though, you say he is just full of BS, so enjoy the dinner.

Out Of Control!!
C5 is not hangin with a 211 E55 unless he has serious mods. A 150 shot is ALOT for a stock motor, I bet he blows the motor if he's runnin that much. I know a couple 1000hp c5's but they have a turbo and built engines.
