MP3 playback in 2004 US Command
Hi!
I took the car in last week to get a few things fixed and asked the service representative to inquire about the MP3 playback in my car. I mentioned that I had read in this forum that there was a bulletin "dtb 82.60/382A" that would allow this. She said that if the car had not come with MP3 playback they would not be able to get it to work. She also told me that only 2005 and up cars had MP3 capability
. I told her to put the note in the workorder anyways just in case. I went to pick up my car today and, what do you know? It now plays MP3 Cd's in the single slot cd. I cheked the workorder and is shows that the command software was updated, and that "DTB #P-B-82.60/382A operation #5410" was performed. Just thought I'd let y'all know.
