The grill insert on the hood is at the shop right now getting painted ... that should look pretty sweet.

Holes are still there... going to get them filled sometime this month. My paint shop said it will only take them a couple days to respray the bumper. They estimated $500 to R&I and respray the bumper. Is that a good price?

It matches the emblems, which is a high gloss black.

At $50/hr. that's 10 hours labor & materials. You can figure about 4-5 hrs. of labor to R&I the bumper, repair the holes and another 2.0 hrs for refinishing...so...yes, if they do a nice job $500 would be about right.

My bumper is full of stone chips already. Need to get the CF lip and send the beast to the body shop to get it fixed up and the lip installed.

I am not sure if your car came with the nano technology paint but if it did I would not repaint it. I hear there are very few paint shops than can replicate the nano paint due to its high temperature baking and the ceramics involved.

I love that I have that nano paint, reduced paint chips and less swirls but I always pray that I dont need body work.

If you are not sure if you have nano paint, check the paint code on the driver's side door jam. For brilliant silver the paint code is 744 and if you have nano then there will be a "C" in front the code (eg C744).

I think all 2005 cars and newer have this paint technology.
