If you are not sure if you have nano paint, check the paint code on the driver's side door jam. For brilliant silver the paint code is 744 and if you have nano then there will be a "C" in front the code (eg C744).
I think all 2005 cars and newer have this paint technology.

....what do you mean by the grill insert???....that is finished in high gloss from factory is it not??? or are you using a different grill which is finished in matt???
