The Zaino effect
Had a detail job done a couple days ago with all Zaino products. Snapped a few pics on a nice sunny day. Nice to be able to post pics easily here. Amateur photography in full effect.

WOW!!! That looks amazing, both the detail and that color blue, I think I like it better than black. I detail using Zymol product but your car looks great. Do you know how many steps they took with the paint?

I am up to at least the 8th application of Z-2 Polish. I have a fanatic detailer that looks after my beast regularly. I have had the initial multi-step process a while back and I get a follow up fresh coat of the Z-2 every month or so. That's all it needs to keep gleaming. Zaino is the *****.

Your car will need to be:
1) Clayed
2) Buffed with a moderate compound
3) Buffed with a finishing compound to bring back the new luster again
4) Then you can use a product like zaino to protect and shine the paint.
The buffing with a porter cable or straight drive buffer will remove the scatches in your paint. Depending on the depth of the scrathes in your car you may not need to use a 2 step buffing process. The 2 step process first takes out the larger scratches but it leaves fine scratches in the process. The second round with the buffer will then remove the fine scratches and leave the pain perfectly level and blemish free (with in reason).
Finally from the looks of your sig I would go for a final topping product such as Blackfire wet diamond since it offers a more "deep" finish in a dark colored vehicle. The Zaino products work best on lighter colored vehicles as they are extremely bright but lack depth. Black cars look amazing when finished with a nice deep finish that looks miles deep. Wet diamond offers the protection of zaino but it also has the depth normally only seen in high end carnuba waxes like pinnacle souveran (the best carnuba wax I have ever come across).
Go to Properautocare.com to find these products and they offer the best step by step directions to creating the best looking car around. They are second to none in advise on finish protection for a do it your self type of person.

On my black bmw, after a while I would see some spiderwebbing in the paint. I would apply a couple of coats of the z5 and it would go away. It doesn't remove it, but it definately would hide it. z5 works miracles for black paint. Btw, when I sold the car the paint looked brand new, and it was a several year old car.... now that it doesn't get the paint care anymore, it looks alot closer to its age up close. Zaino is pretty amazing stuff.

Zaino will not fix any scuffing or spider webbing on your car. Zaino is a very strong and long lasting top coat product but it will not make less than perfect paint look like new. 95% of the final product will depend of the preparation of the paint before zaino.
Your car will need to be:
1) Clayed
2) Buffed with a moderate compound
3) Buffed with a finishing compound to bring back the new luster again
4) Then you can use a product like zaino to protect and shine the paint.

Claying the entire vehicle did wonders in removing any impurities in the paint and now waxing actually protects the paint instead of sealing up debris.

The first extensive detail job I had done, the wheels were pulled & the barrels were thoroughly cleaned & polised.
That was definitely under the "extra services" menu with my detailer. I haven't had it done in several months, it's going to be done again soon. I have to sell lots more crack rocks before I can afford it. Can you help me move product Ali Bin Zorama?
We saw some pretty awesome runs on Saturday night at the World Street Nationals. There's nothing like the smell of burnt rubber on a crisp Fall night.
I didn't see any wrecks, just a couple of blown engines. I take that back, there were plenty of human wrecks there in good ol' Bithlo. Motorsports events draw quite a diverse crowd here in Florida.

I have never used the Zaino product, I mostly buff with meguiars and use Zymol wax. I am interested in trying Zaino, but I have 2 questions...
When you use the Z-2 product, after that do you put a wax on or does it act as a wax? Also, what rags do you guys use?
