Renntech Intercooler
Renntech has made an intercooler that I believe is similiar to the Evosport intercooler. Does anyone have any experience with this intercooler or know anything about it?

Here is a breakdown on IC Cooling Upagrdes:
1. Kleemann - Johnson 90 LPH pump with fittings
2. Evosport - Johnson 90 LPH pump with extra heat exchanger and all mounting hardware. Easy install with one hose cut. Car can be returned to stock very easily in case of a lease or warranty.
3. Renntech - My guess it is Stewart pump, which has very similar flow characteristics as Johnson. As far as any additional heat exchanger - no info.
And of course I am biased, I designed evosport's cooling upgrade.
Do a search under "evosport, cooling", there are numerous threads going back several years.

I would friggin love to put the SLR setup on my car.
From all my snooping, the SLR Intercooler mod involves purchasing the SLR Supercharger just to start, something about the outlets to the tanks on the side being totally different than our blowers......once it got over 2nd mortgage territory price wise, I just gave up.
sigh...someday.

The extra heat exchanger sits in front of the oem ic. It's a clean package. The install done by Adam @ Euroelites was 1st rate, but I always expect that from him; he's always done a superb job for me. You can hear the additional pump running, but it's not very noticable. Where I live in the San Jouquin Valley, it gets 110 degrees + in the summer, so I had to get this mod! I took it out a few days ago & ran her hard 5 times in a row to see if I got any heat soak issues, but the first run was as strong as the last. I think it's a worthwhile mod that also will help the life of your powertrain!

Out Of Control!!
How big is this heat exchanger that comes with the Evosport kit? I should be receiving an AFCO pro series dual pass heat exchanger used for hgigh power cobra's on wednesday and will try to customize it to fit on my CLK55K. I laready have the kleemann I/C pump.
