Need Advice...................
I'm getting bored of the E55, I think its time for something new.
Here is what I'm looking at:
New 997 911 Turbo..
Pros- Brand new, can order it to my specs, as far as performance is concerned the car is amazing.
Cons-Looks a little blah.
Used 05/06 Gallardo
Pros-Looks amazing, performance is definitely amazing, it's a lambo
Cons-I absolutely HATE the Audi dash, and it would be used
Used 360 modern
Pros-gorgeous looking car, great interior
Cons-the 430 is out, it's definitely slower than the others and slower than my E55, would have to get a 2003 so going on 4 years old...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance
Oh yeah and the car won't be daily driver.

Nice video
http://www.lemonzoo.com/funny_videos...rri_360CS.html
Make sure to watch the last 5 minutes that is the best part.
Then you will know which one I really like now. I have seen GT3, GT2, GT3RS, 360's, and many others on the track racing side by side with them and after seeing the 360CS in the video, I love it.
But these are all track cars though not as pleasant on the street.
If not, any of the one VALENTINO posted is sweet.
Cheers

I say no to the Lambo. To be honest, as great of a car as it is, its a little "too much" for me. Go with the 997 - the car is absolutely beautiful (I dont know WHAT you're talking about ) and it performs like a supercar. Hell, it is a supercar.

Well, it looks like a 911 because it is a 911 LOL. Have you seen the TT in person? It looks a lot better in person than in the pics.
I think the first question is how much will you be driving it? If it's anywhere near an everyday car, 997TT no question. I also don't need to remind you of the roads we have around here.
While ordering the TT the other day I was looking at the Lambo's and for a second thought about maybe a used lambo? But as someone else said it is a "bit much". Plus, the performance on some of the older cars isn't all that great. If I was going used I'd go for the 360.
The 360 is gorgeous and many think it's better looking than the 430. A friend of mine (another Long Islander - BTW, where are you?) had bought a 997TT several months ago and has just traded it in for an '04 360. he's had a boatload of turbo's and wanted to try the Italian. He loves it and said it's not as "slow" as you think it is. 400 HP but it's pretty light. He said the new TT is by far the best all around car he's ever driven and will be ordering another one. He was going to keep the 360 until a 430 could be had but he loves the 360 and will just get another turbo.
Your list of choices is awesome and you can't go wrong with any of them. All depends on how you're going to use the car. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

I vote 997TT ...
Newest kid on the block ... arguably the quickest, arguably the easiest to drive ... but maybe not as pretty ...
It depends - do you want to pose ? or do you want awesome car + reliability + more praticality (have you seen the lambo trunck space!!!!!) ...
Also 997 has more comfortable ride than 996TT and definitely better than any of the 430/360/Gallardo's....
If you have to go Italian I would go Gallardo ... esp vs a 360. I love the 430 though and would take that over a G. 430 vs 997TT would be closer but TT would still take it for me... can't get the F/I bug outa my system and of course its MOD-ABLE !!!!!

360
Had the 360 for 5 years. Cried the day I sold it. Bullet proof car. 5 years and 20,000 miles and not 1 issue. The maintenance was a bit costly with the scheduled services, timing belts ect. New clutch for he F1 was going to cost 7 grand....
IMO a better looking car than the 430 but as you know not as fast.

Go for the Gallardo, will never fail on putting a smile on your face.
If u were going for a daily driver, i'd go for the Turbo with No Question...
Like Steve said "Have u seen Trunk Space in Gallardo", Probably just enough for a bottle of Evian. New 997 Trunk space very impressive as compared to 996.
Best of Luck, Forget the 360, as u said amazing 430 is here

We have 360 and gallardo (with glass engine cover) both F1 style shifters and manual 997 C2S
The 360 is not as "bullet proof" as some have said here...ours starts every 2nd or 3rd try - been to the dealer more times than I care to count for that problem, tried fuses, tried alarm system tried everything..still starts 2nd or 3rd time (and randomly the first time just to prove you wrong). We have Tubi on the 360 and it sounds awsome simply nothing to touch that sound! Our neighbors complain of hearing me several blocks away as the F1 blips on down shifts...
The Gallardo gets more attention in our area than the 360 (sometimes too much - like older kids taking liberties wanting to sit on the car for pictures etc...and everyone hangs on the rear quarter looking at it...right in the blind spot of the C pillar!!) - and frankly I think for me (personal view) it drives faster than the 360, I love the 4w drive EXCEPT when parking or moving in tight spaces - then the tires scrub and the CV's whip as you do tight turns...doesn't feel good . Of course the trunk is tiny - then again the little extra the 360 has does little to make any real difference. Oh and yes don't let the lambo go below 1/3 of a tank of gas Its not a good idea! (and both you and I don't like Audi controls but hey at least they work
The p-car is bullet proof - truly so - but its not the TT so I am not able to judge that. Its more discrete and less of a draw which can be good or can have a down side when you want to get attention. The open air driving in the porsche is great and not too noisey. The quality and finish are great.
All are fun - pick Porsche for worry free, Lambo for attention, and Ferrari for feel (sound and furry)....all are great
good luck

I would go for the Porsche. It is lightning quick... saw one neck to neck with the SLR.
Galardos look really nice... but then at this league, looks dont matter as much.
Go for the turbo, u will not regret!
