Puddle lamp wiring

OK so winter is coming and my wife likes them...so I'm gonna put them on !!! Car is on the rack and I'm polishing the rear mufflers (I'm bored) and it looks easy enough to mount these L.E.D. lamps but ...here is the million dollar question....anyone know an easy access interior lamp wire I can grab so they work and dim when I lock/unlock the car ?

You talking the MB ones in the mirrors or some aftermarket ones? the mirror wiring is there even though the lights are gone.

Even worse Jangy...the ones I am going to install in the rocker sills !!!! Brabus LED lamps. Kind of tacky but its a good excuse to be in the garage....I have to start scoping out how to get the blower off this crate anyway.

Tap into the footwell lighting under the dash, its easy to get to, I used them for wiring the AMG door sills.
