Finally! I know this was way overdue, in fact I was expecting this done over 6 months ago. I wont get into what caused all the delays, but I am finally happy to say that we will have 18 E55 Carbon Fiber lips ready to ship by the 2nd week in December. So far 9 of the lips are already spoken for. So the reason I made this thread is because the overwhelming amount of emails and PM's I got from people asking "how can I reserve one" Well, now is the chance to reserve one of the 9 left in the first batch. All that is needed to reserve a lip is a $150 deposit.

All the 18 Carbon lips will be ready the 2nd week in December, thankfully we have a very nice forum member here Jody (JodyE55Rocket) who volunteered to try on a demo unfinished fiberglass lip for a few weeks to make sure everything is well, and of course it is. He was able to snap a few pics of what this unfinished fiberglass lip looks like so everyone can at least see the style, NOT the finish since it is bare.








Now in case some of you do not already know, we already have carbon fiber lips out for the C55, CLK55, CLK500, C230, C32 etc.... All of them carry the same general style. So if some of you would like to see what the carbon fiber looks like on the lip, here is pics of the C55 lip on forum member silversdm3's car. Looks incredible! We do not do things the cheap way and have a seam going down the middle of the lip, everything exposed when installed is in beautiful carbon fiber!







We sell these lips cheaper then compareable carbon lips, or even FIBERGLASS lips cost more! and yes, these can be painted if you wish.

No, you were only charged the $150 Deposit. When you checkout threw the link it is like placing the real order for the lip at full price. But since we do not have anything to ship yet, on our end you are only charged $150. You will see ONLY a $150 deposit charged on your crerdit card statement until the lip ships. But yes, i see what you mean by checking out it looks like you were charged full amount up front, but again, you were not.

Update, only 6 more lips left!

No, your good to go, you do not need to do anything else. You will automatically be charged the remaining amount when the lip ships. Should you decide you want to use a different credit card to pay the balance, be sure to notify me before.

It was mentioned in the link with more info on the lip. But yes, you drill it to the bottom of the bumper. Which is the best way to it can be taken off at any time with no damage to your bumper. You can install it in 5 minutes, its very simple and comes with all hardware and installation instructions with pictures.

I can honestly say I never tried it on an S-Class, but I cannot imagine it fitting. All these AMG bumpers look so similar, yet, when you put a lip up to one that was molded around a different bumper they do not fit. A good example is the C32 lip and C55 lip are totally different lips, yet the bumpers look similar from a glance, but when you held one lip on the other bumper it was way off.
