Why is it that ...
Over on 6speedonline the key vendors all offer holiday sales (generally 10% off) and unless I'm mistaken, we don't see any of that here?
Would the extra 10 or 20% off create higher sales?

Yes it would boost sales in the short run. EuroElites is planning to have a sale for local market (Bay Area - Nor Cal) in a few weeks time. Most likely its going to be performance for the 63 engines. (ecu upgrade/headers/intake..etc)

If you're at 100% capacity and a sale would hurt efficiency/margin then don't have a sale, raise your prices.
There are just too many answers to "why have a discount" and the success of WalMart is one of them.
