What's the proper way to remove the ECU?

After loosing 3 pumps, my MB dealer made me reflash the ECU. I had previously told them not to re-flash the car and to just replace the pump and relay based on their recall. I have had two more pump failures since then and they are saying it's because I haven't done the dealer recall re-flash. I was forced to do it and now I need to send the ECU back to Kleemann. How do I remove the ECU? What are the steps I need to take to get it out and then once back from Kleemann, how do I put it back in the car? Any help guys?

Thanks
Derrick
