without a better than average rider, the r6 would lose to a k4 in the 1/4mile too. stock vs. stock...the r6 will crush the e55 at just about any speed.

nice r6 though...i sold my '99 when i got the duc.

Nice bike Josh, thats too funny I have been looking at bikes as well but have no road bike hours under my belt. All my time was spent on motor cross 125 and 250cc. I think my search is down to the ducati s4rs or 1098s or the bmw k1200s. I did look at the daytona 675 too. I need to take a class and see what works best good luck and enjoy!

If you're not going to do that, sell the thing fast and pick up that Raptor 700 from Dynojet and let's go tear up some dunes! I'm telling you, that quad is awesome with the mods they've done and for what they're asking, it's an absolute steal!

nice bike.

look at devil high side exhaust systems and a power commander. looks/sounds sick on the bike.

i on my 5th bike and damn they are fun but be careful of all the morons out there that are haters. I had to slow it down and got a Harley after 4 crotch rockets. If you like the rush you will be looking to upgrade in less than a year. I moved from my 600 to a 750 in 1 year. If I can convince the wife that I am still a slow roller I am trying to get a new zx10r.

take the class for new riders that ensures your license at the end. well worth it for motorcycle safety.

It's not a Devil... It is a Yosh... I see the prior owner put a Competition Werkes license plate relocater on as well.

My suggestion is invest in a set of sliders fast. As a new rider a $60 pair of sliders can save you a bunch in plastic repairs.

That and a nice Joe Rocket leather jacket. That will save you a bunch in "skin" repairs.

Very Nice bike ...I had an 04 R6 and loved it. Got an 07 GSXR 600 and love it even more! Ride safe out there! I would do California Super Bike School....helps out a lot in the canyons/ track. If you want more info I will send you the link. Congrats!

I know it is a Yosh I was saying to look into the Devil Exhaust as an upgrade. much more aggressive sound look with the high side mount.
