SL 600 tires on E55
I am selling my 2002 SL600; the PS2 tires on this car are almost brand new, and I would like to swap them out with the Contis on my 2005 E55, which as I plan to keep the E55.
The front tire size is identical, but the rear tires on the SL are 275/35-18 while the rears on the E55 are 265/35-18 (10mm narrower).
Could this small size difference lead to problem? It appears that the wheel wells have enough clearence for the extra 5mm on each side.
(I had posted this question in the Tire forum, but have not got any answers)

There is less than 1" of difference in circumference. Try this handy calculator for questions about size differences and affects to gearing:http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html
